Live Action (the “Company”) thanks for you for registering to attend our special event, NEW NORTH STAR EVENT (the “Event”). You registered for this event online on the website TicketSpice.com, which invitation set forth the official “Date(s)” and “Location(s)” of the Event as such terms are defined herein. As a condition of your attendance and participation in this exclusive Event, and to ensure compliance with applicable federal, State, and local laws, regulations, and ordinances (“Law(s)”), you are required to review and affirmatively accept these basic terms and conditions for all Event attendees (hereinafter, the “Release”).

Release

I, the attendee (“Attendee”), do hereby agree and consent to the following terms, conditions, and releases, and do hereby affirm the truthfulness of all representations herein I am asked to make:

1. I am either: (a) Over eighteen (18) years of age as of the date below; (b) the legal guardian* of the Attendee with full lawful authority to enter this Release on the Attendee’s behalf; or (c) under the age of eighteen (18) and will be attending the Event with my parent or legal guardian* who is also an attendee.

2. I understand and agree that it is my choice to participate in any or none of the Event activities offered by the Company at the Location or offsite (each an “Offsite Activity” and collectively “Offsite Activities”). As used herein, “Offsite Activities” shall mean social and networking events, dinners, public demonstrations, public picketing, public prayer, other prayer gatherings or
religious services, recreational events, exclusive VIP events or cocktail hours, tours, or excursions, held at a place other than the Location. Notwithstanding the preceding definition, Offsite Activities means only those activities as defined herein that are sponsored by, paid for, or hosted by the Company, that are related to the Event.

3. I agree to comply at all times with the Law, and further agree to indemnify and hold the Company harmless for my violations of any laws.

4. I agree to comply at all times with the policies of any transportation services or other outside vendors the Company has contracted with to provide services for attendees (such as transportation to/from Offsite Activities), and further agree to indemnify and hold the Company harmless for my violations of any policies of these vendors.

5. I understand that as an Attendee I may from time to time be seen as representing the values of the Company, and therefore agree to uphold the following statements of personal decorum during the Event over the entire course of the Event Dates, both at the Location and at all Offsite Activities:

a. I will treat all persons and businesses with respect, including persons and businesses that do not share my pro-life values.

b. I will not engage in personal attacks or use vulgar or profane language toward any person, including other attendees, members of the public, or persons who oppose my pro-life values.

c. I will wear appropriate attire, and refrain from any attire that can be reasonably viewed as vulgar, immodest, offensive, or sexually suggestive.

d. I will abide by all instructions from lawful authorities and all policies and instructions of local authorities.

e. I will not engage in advocacy on behalf of any political parties or candidates for public office.

f. Any photos, recordings, videos, images, postings, or other materials I choose to publish or disseminate to any third party, including online or via social media, which reference or disclose my participation in the Event, shall comply with these statements, whether I publish such materials before, during, or after the Event Dates.

g. I will not engage in any other form of disruptive behavior during the Event toward any person or business, including the use of violence toward persons or property, or any form of verbal or physical harassment of persons.

6. I consent and agree to have my Likeness filmed, photographed, interviewed, and/or recorded (a/the “Recording(s)”) by the Company under the following terms and conditions:

a. As used herein, “Likeness” includes my name, image, and voice.

b. As used herein, the “Recording(s)” include(s) any number or series of audio and/or visual recordings, made by the Company during the Event dates, whether on Location premises or at any Offsite Activity.

c. All Recordings described hereunder shall be the sole and exclusive property of the Company. The Company may sell, lease, license, or transfer its rights in the Recordings at any time, without my consent or authorization.

d. The Company may use the Recordings for pro-life educational and advocacy purposes, including by distribution on the World Wide Web, on social media, in film, or any other print, visual, or audio media format.

e. The Company may reproduce, or recreate an indefinite number of copies, derivate works, alterations, modifications, or reproductions of the original Recordings.

f. The Company may use the Recordings in advertising, publicity, public displays, fundraising, and exhibitions.

g. My subsequent revocation of the rights, privileges, and interests granted, waived, or released hereunder as to future the use of my Likeness in these Recordings shall have no retroactive effect on any of the Company’s prior uses, nor shall such revocation restrict or limit the Company’s property rights in any of the Recordings, including the Company’s right to continue using and distributing such Recordings under these terms and conditions.

h. I hereby grant, and transfer to the Company, including its agents, successors, and assigns, all rights, title, and interest in the Recordings, in perpetuity. I hereby Release the Company from all claims and liability relating to the Recordings and waive to the fullest extent that I may lawfully do so, any causes of action in law or equity I may have or may later acquire against the Recordings, including for defamation, invasion of privacy, copyright or trademark violation, right
of publicity, or false light arising out of or in connection with the Recordings.

7. I understand and agree that I am not authorized to record, by any means, the Likeness of any employee or volunteer of the Company, of its vendors, or of any other attendees. I understand and agree that it is my responsibility to obtain the consent of such persons, individually, before recording their Likeness. Notwithstanding the preceding part, the Company’s consent on
behalf of itself or its employees, volunteers, and vendors shall only be set forth in a signed writing by the Company.

8. I understand and agree that if I capture any photographs or recordings of the Event which otherwise comply with this Release, I may not publish, reproduce, or disseminate these recordings, by any means, in exchange for monetary value, without the Company’s signed written consent. I understand that sharing my photographs and recordings of the Event on social
media, for example, is encouraged by the Company, provided that I do not publish images of other persons at the Event in violation of these terms.

9. I understand and agree that the Company is not responsible for the actions of other attendees and is not capable of monitoring every attendee. I understand, for example, that other attendees may capture my Likeness by photographing or recording me while at the Event. If I do not wish for my Likeness to be captured by other attendees, I will kindly ask them not to do so. However, I also understand and agree that I will have a limited expectation of privacy whenever I am in public places during the Event and should therefore expect that my Likeness may be captured when I am in public places without my express consent.

10. I understand and agree that I am not authorized to publish, reproduce, or disseminate, by any means, any Event-related materials I may receive from the Company, its vendors, including training materials, programs, schedules, flyers, brochures, memorabilia, emails, agreements, releases, photos, images, or other documents.

11. I understand and agree that the Company reserves the right to ban me from further participation in the Event and all Event-related activities, including at the Location and all Offsite Activities, upon reasonable belief that I have violated any term of this Release, or that I have made any false representation hereunder.

12. I understand and agree that if I am banned from further participation in the Event, I will not be entitled to a refund for any Event fees, including the cost of my registration.

13. I agree to hold harmless, defend, and fully indemnify the Company and its employees, representatives, agents, successors, and assigns, to the extent I am permitted by law, from and against any demands, claims, actions, proceedings, judgments, damages including death or bodily injury, or liability, arising from their negligent acts or omissions during the Event, either at the Location or at any Offsite Activity.

14. I assume all risks for my participation in the Event including all Offsite Activities to the fullest extent I am permitted to by law and waive any right I may otherwise have to seek damages against or hold liable the Company, for the acts or omissions of any third-party, including the acts or omissions of other attendees, vendors or employees of the Company, or any other person, or business entity.

15. I understand and agree that I am not an employee, agent, or representative of the Company for any purpose, and I shall not misrepresent myself as such to any third-party.

16. I am lawfully permitted to enter this Release, and I am under no legal or contractual obligation that prevents my entering this Release.

17. All notices, requests, demands, and other communications under this Release shall be in writing, and I hereby authorize the Company to contact me with all Event-related information using the email I provided at the time of my Event registration.

18. This Release shall be governed by California law.

*Any legal guardian accepting this release on behalf of a minor-attendee or who otherwise plans to attend the Event with a minor in their care, agrees to accept responsibility for the minor-attendee’s personal and physical well-being throughout the Event, including the responsibility to always serve as the minor-attendee’s chaperone.
